Service Description
Have you joined our MYB! Group Obedience classes and are ready to take on a bigger challenge? These classes are for you! The purpose of these group obedience sessions is to apply that obedience in real life scenarios with like-minded owners working towards the same goal. *During these sessions there will be NO dog-to-dog interactions.* The expectation is that you are practicing obedience in the presence of distractions. Obedience is like a muscle, if we don't use it, we lose it. In this hour-long session, a group of owners and their dogs, under the guidance of a professional dog trainer will congregate in a designated field and exercise engagement, obedience and neutrality with their dog. We will be implementing drills inspired by Jayden at Happiness Unleashed to put your dog's neutrality training to work! This program is great for those working on confidence, anxiety or reactivity - even those just wanting to maintain a solid obedience in a high distraction environment. It provides a great way to meet like-minded dog owners in the community and you will have access to Q&A, guidance, tool and canine education and tips from Ashlin, the Professional Dog Trainer. It is highly recommended you attend a MYB! Group Obedience class first. These drills will be much closer proximity with a little less structure to simulate real world scenarios.
