Does your dog have great obedience at home, but it all seems to disappear when you leave the house to go for a walk? These pack walks are for you! The purpose of these pack walks is to apply that obedience in real life scenarios with like-minded owners working towards the same goal. *On these walks there will be NO dog-to-dog interactions.* The purpose of this walk is to practice loose leash walking and obedience in the presence of distractions. Obedience is like a muscle. If we don't use it, we lose it. In this hour-long session, a group of owners and their dogs will start in a group in a public space where you will be guided through various loose-leash walking drills. You will be provided with tips and have the opportunity to ask the dog trainer questions specific to your challenges. After about 15-20 minutes we will walk a popular trail within the city while exercising engagement with their dog and a structured heel. This program is great for those working on confidence, anxiety or reactivity - even those just wanting to maintain a solid obedience in a high distraction environment. It provides a great way to meet like-minded dog owners in the community and you will have access to Q&A, guidance, tool and canine education and tips from Ashlin, the Professional Dog Trainer.
