Service Description

Does your dog have great obedience at home, but it all seems to disappear when you leave the house to go for a walk? These obedience sessions are for you! The purpose of these group obedience sessions is to apply that obedience in real life scenarios with like-minded owners working towards the same goal. *During these sessions there will be NO dog-to-dog interactions.* The expectation is that you are practicing obedience in the presence of distractions. Obedience is like a muscle, if we don't use it, we lose it. In this hour-long session, a group of owners and their dogs, under the guidance of a professional dog trainer will congregate in a designated field and exercise engagement and obedience with their dog. We will practice basic obedience such as "down", "sit", "stay" and "place" together. We will have opportunities to walk through rows of dogs in a safe manner. This program is great for those working on confidence, anxiety or reactivity - even those just wanting to maintain a solid obedience in a high distraction environment. It provides a great way to meet like-minded dog owners in the community and you will have access to Q&A, guidance, tool and canine education and tips from Ashlin, the Professional Dog Trainer. Your dog is expected to know "sit" "down" and "stay" for this session.
