Initial Consultation

Service Description

At the initial consultation, the dog trainer, Ashlin, will come to your home. Don't worry! You do not need to get your house prepared for us. We want to come and meet your family and learn about your lifestyle so that we can cater training to what will work in your life. We want to find barriers that are challenging you and help you to overcome them and find new ways to achieve your goals. The consultation will give us an opportunity to do an assessment on you, your dog and your relationship. This is your chance to get a feel for us as your dog trainer and for us to get a feel for you as our client. Our relationship is important! It is important that we click and can work together cohesively to overcome the challenges at hand. We will develop a list of goals and a realistic plan together and decide which program is best for you. A consultation will be approximately 60-90 minutes in length. Please have your dog on-leash and muzzled if they are a bite risk. ***Required for all private training and boarding programs*** Travel Fees will apply outside of Abbotsford and Mission and payment will be sent separately: Chilliwack/Langley/Maple Ridge: $15.00 Surrey/Port Moody/Coquitlam/Poco/Pitt Meadows/Burnaby: $20.00 Vancouver/Hope: $25.00

Cancellation Policy

Initial Consultations are non-refundable but may be rescheduled up to 12 hours in advance. Private Sessions: Once the program has begun, there is no refund. Clients can reschedule a session up to 12 hours in advanced with no penalty. Less than 12 hours notice will count as a missed session. We understand that people get sick. We will make exceptions for illness, but if we see a trend, we will be counting sessions as missed. For State of Mind Day Training Program: If illness arises, we can work together to make up another day. Once you have started the State of Mind Program, you cannot cancel or reschedule.
